Born in the stillness of the global pandemic, the label emerged from an unexpected moment of reflection – driven by newly found creative time, entrepreneurial thinking, and a long-held vision to create a high-quality handbag brand at an accessible price point.

About Freya
Freya was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, in 1989 and has lived in the Netherlands, China, Australia, India, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria. Professionally, she spent many years working in marketing for international FMCG companies. These international experiences shaped her aesthetic and deepened her appreciation for timeless design.

In search of accessories that combine elegance and quality with an accessible price point, Freya decided to create exactly what she herself had been missing.

After more than a decade abroad, she returned to Germany in 2021 and founded the label FREYA ESTEPHAN.
